Hi all, been a lurker for a while but finally decided to join !

Currently work in the IT field, usual IT maintenance engineer responsible for around 1k workstations. Creating builds, installing hardware / software. A/V updates. Also work on the network side of things, working on servers, switches, routers. Fiber and copper. But mainly from a hardware point of view.

I have a BTEC National IT practitioners qualification received a few years ago from college.

I will not have a job as of mid 2011/2012 so need to start looking for a new position. But would like to get some qualifications before hand as I don't really have any as such, so doesn't look the best on CVs.

Ideally I would prefer to go more network based, ( we use a lot of cisco equipment)
