Hi everyone

I was made redundant from my job as a supervisor in a factory late last year. I trained to be a tiler at the start of this year as I thought it would be a good careeer to get into. Unfortunately since starting I have discovered that work is very hard to come by and when I do get jobs I am not really enjoying it like I thought I would.
I am considering self studying the A+ certificate while I'm sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring. I've been interested in PCs for many years and I think I would enjoy a career in IT. Starting from the bottom doesn't really concern me too much, I just want to do a job I like.
Been looking at this site today and it seems like there are helpful and supportive people out there so I've joined up.
Anyway, thats my story, speak to you soon when I get stuck on page 1.

We had a tiler do my parents kitchen a few years ago, he was the grumpiest/rudest man I have ever met. . . did a good job though!

Maybe it's something in the grout.

 

Depending on which book you're using, they usually start with processor theory. So yeah, page 1 is probably where you'll get stuck.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll find all the help you need here - I certainly have. Welcome to the forum!
