Hi all

I've been browsing for a little while now and thought I'd say hello!

I'm currently in an operations role which is a bit billy (beginning to wonder why I left my desktop support role) and I would like to move into more of a server trouble shooting/admin role.

I've put myself (almost) through the paces of the MCSA training. After battling through 270 and 271 and then spending hours with glazed eyes looking at the exchange book, I noticed that 620 (which looks a lot easier than 270... that tested the brain cells with unattended installation, etc) can be an elective to finish it off!!

So hopefully in a week I'll have an MCSA.

Anyway, I'm wondering what to do next. Also wondering how to move on to something more technical/server orientated, do I press for a move with in the same company or just look elsewhere...

nice intro, tell you what why dont you wait until I've finished my mcsa. then I think their might be a job very similar to mine coming up where I work, just think all the fun you can have with netware, linux, and standing outside in the cold fixing tourist kiosks.

what about keeping your eye out for any jobs appearing where we worked together, I assume ben and robs dept might be interesting (but then I suppose they are proberbly there for the long haul)!
