    Hi,

Looking for as much help in getting a proper start in IT.

Needs as much advice as possible.

I got a Degree In Business Information technology, just a ordinary one no honours (did not do the project) but was heading for the old 2:2.

This was in 2003, it is 2007 i left my old job in customer services once my uni debts were paid off. I have been applying for IT related jobs for months now but nothing at all.

I know that the qualification I have means nothing without experience in the industry. So I am in the position or trap that many people are qualifications without experience, all theory no practical.

I realised that degree qualifications mean less in IT then ever before. I want industry recognised qualiifcations with the chance of getting a proper job in IT. I saw cerco training on here and the comments so i am avoiding that.

I am willing to take advice about this

    Hi and welcome to CF

That doesn't matter, I have an ordinary degree and it suits me fine :)

Like GBL said, get some entry level professional certs, while they do not guarantee you a job (nothing can) they do increase your chances alot.
