Thanks all! Don't get online too much, so won't be posting regularly. Will soon be starting a MCDBA course with Computeach, plus a C# MCP sort of attached. Any news on this? Computeach and Advent both immediately recommended the MCDBA for me, rather than the MCSE or MCSA. I've got no formal IT qualifications (except a certificate in C++ for non-programmers from Learndirect), but i've been mucking around with computers for about a decade, thought it would be time I got paid for it!

 

thats odd, if you do the MCSE with the right electives i think you can walk away as an MCDBA as well
*shrug*

Wecome though, hope you find any advice you may need
although im not sure how many SQL gurus we have here
