Hello! Need help to find starting point!

    Hi all. I am new to the forum. Nice to meet you all.

    I am looking to get into IT and really need pointing in the right direction.

    I have always been extremely competent on PC's but now want to turn it into qualifications to get a job I will enjoy doing!

    I have been told that A+ and network+ are the building blocks. I just need to know if that is where I should start and where I can head after those.

    Welcome. Self study is the way forward. Do a search and you'll find the A+ & N+ books people have used to pass their exams. Good luck, Jim

    Hello and welcome to the forums. :)

    The general trend is A+, N+ and MCDST (in that order).

    As has already been advised, have a look around the relevant forum sections and read up, I'm sure you'll find information that is of use to you.
