Hi All,

I have been in the IT industry for the past ten years, ever since leaving university.

Currently work for one of the largest telecommunications PLC in the UK as a Data Centre Mobile Professional. Basically I, together with six colleagues, look after the entire hardware (Cisco, HP, Sun) of our Data Centre estate for the south west of England and Wales.

I am a quarter of the way through the Cisco Academy using the new version 4 of their CCNA course. 89.8% in the first end of module/semester exam (Network Fundamentals), so hopefully have enough of a grasp on the subject material for the real exam.

Another three modules / semesters left, hopefully going to take the CCNA certification exam by the end of September.

If anyone is interested I'm a Open University student on the T216 CCNA course which integrates the Cisco Academy course as the main structure. They run it as a continuous 9 month course from February to September.
