Got my hardware exam at 2 today!

Been worrying so didnt sleep well last night

Have you been using MM all in 1 book?

Yep i started with the MM book! Went through it all once, and have been going over various bits ever since finishing it. Just its hard to retain all the information from the book, e.g. the bus speeds of every single cpu! But from doing practice test i think ive got the main things memorised. Oh also went back to do the MM questions as it had been a good while since i had done them and scored pretty highly!

Lets hope it pays off

I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am halfway to being A+ certified

Little dissapointed in the score though - 695/900, was hoping for something in the 700's, but it comes out at 77% which is quite ncie

Found some poorly worded questions in there (which i expceted from reading what others had said), also, 2-3 OS type questions!! And some networking ones which were a bit out of the depth of the MM book.

Just glad i passed it! The whole exam procedure was very good, nice testing centre (guildford), had a wipeboard + marker pen, although didnt use it too much (wrote down my IRQ's!).

Oh and it had all the ethical questions in, quite easy questions as long as you think about it!

Onto OS! (which is supposidly harder )
