    Hi Guys, just joined today after discovering the forum on google!

    Im just back from Prometric and now have my first certification! passed both A+ exams with ease, hopefully the first of many!

    Im 27, from Northern Ireland, currently in a dead end job and looking to get into an IT career after 10+ years personal experience with PC's and OS's, building fixing them for family etc.

    This site seems invaluable im well happy i found it.

    2003 objectives as I had the meyers book from last year or so, didnt see the point in changing when the 2003 was still valid till june.

    Im not entirely sure what tips to give! I have 10+ years personal experience fiddling about with PC's at home for friends etc. so the basic knowledge was there, problem is you have to know certain facts exactly, where as in the real world even if you couldnt recall how to do something you could figure it out easily enough.
    Be confident and use common sense for a lot of the questions you cant answer straight away.. usually the wrong answers dont make sense and helps narrow the right one down.
