...aka What's your favourite keyboard shortcut ?

Thought I'd start a Thread about this, as I'm all for ways to do things faster without having to take my hands away from the keyboard to use the mouse This can be both in the OS (yes Freddy - I'm catering from you too here - didn't just say Windows :tongue ), and also within the apps you use on your machine, eg Firefox, etc.

    To start, basics I use:

    In Windows:

    ctrl+C(opy), +V(paste), +X(cut) +P(rint)
    ctrl+B(old), +U(nderline), +I(talics)
ctrl+Home - to start of line, +End - to end of line
shift+Home - highlight from cursor to start of word
shift+End - highlight from cursor to end of word

Windows key (bring up start menu - cursor to choice)
    Windows key+L - lock PC

Tab key - jump between fields/ options etc

    Firefox:

ctrl+N (new tab), ctrl+"x" (go to tab number "x")

So you get the idea - let's keep hands on to get rid of the rodent !! :biggrin (kidding)

ALT and TAB for when the manager is skulking around the office checking on things. And ALT + F4 when I really can't be bothered to shut everything down properly.
