    Well, i should be in Birmingham by now. But virgin have cancelled all trains in the midlands due to flooding. Im not bothered about that, but the ar***oles havent put any alternative transport on to help me get there!!!! Im not happy. Anyone else been affected by the weather?? Anyone know what ya do to claim ya tickets back??

    Sorry to hear that mate, but a lot of places are flooded, don't know if you seen the news today, but a Soldiers got swept away in flood up on the Yorkshire Moor.

    Virgin Hmmm they let me down the day I travelled to the CF Xmas meal.:(

    unlucky mate!

    yeh the weather is a bitch at the moment, but as I'm in the sunny south we were spared the worst of it..

    to get a refund you will need to get a claim form from the ticket office and then send in the original tickets with a covering letter, citing all relevant details, to the address on the form.

    I'd recommend making a photocopy of your tickets/form/letter before you staple them together and post them off, as things sometimes go missing en route.
    Funnily enough I just got a refund from Virgin today, I put my claim in the post about 7 weeks ago, so expect a wait.

    I work in Brum and commute from Cov. It's a 27 mile nightmare at the moment.

    They should refund you at the train station itself; they all know fully well the problems that have been happening. Take your tickets to the booking office and see what they say.
