Hi all,

I've been hanging around the forum for a few months now, posting the odd thing now and again but dont think i've done a formal hello.

I got my a+ back in 2003, got into the IT industry for real shortly after, however had been playing with pc's and mates rates for about 10 years before hand. Suddenly decided that I want another cert so im studying the ms 271 at the mo to let me in nice and gently to mcp-dom. Not sure where I will go from there though depends where my fancy takes me!

Been and hardware software engineer for my first IT job as I got my A+ I think i was quite good at that, positive things to come out of that job was learning how to do component level repairs (brandising a soldering iron to a motherboard is now something I'm quite good at) and getting a bit of exposure to AD structures etc.
Now im in 1/2nd line support for the old bill which is really good learnt alot about servers and stuff. however getting itchy feet now been here a year, and have learnt pretty much everything that there is to know here so looking for something else.

Set up a domain at home with exchange and server 2003 which is a great little test bed for me however its been neglected whilst im studying the 271. thats pretty much my techy life covered.
