I guess I should have started here but oh well.

My name is Simon and I am.. oh, hang on wrong place.

Anyway, I have been in IT for 13 years now after having spent 10 years as a soldier in the British Army, hard to believe I have been in IT for longer than I was in the Army (which in itself seemed like a lifetime).

I love technology, have far too many pooters in the house, spend way too much time online (gaming\browsing and generally doing bugger all). I have a very forgiving wife and a fantastic (nearly) 3 year old son.

I actually found this place because of a post on Tek-Tips, liking it here because of the more English than American feel to it and because I like to think I can actually help out those that need it.

Looking at doing a VCP course in the not too distant future to further expand on an already growing number of letters after my name but it's all good
