    Seems this is the place for first posting so here i am.:D

    Im Andy, 45, and soon gonna be self abusing with the CompTia A+ ( essentials and tech at first,,,,,N+ later).
    I would have said hi yesterday but i took the 'ol p.c to bits ( for no other reason than a good nosey ~ as ya do :D ) and when i put it back together it wouldn't work ~ lol.
    Its taken me a while to suss out i bent 2 pins on the CPU ~ god knows how. They're not the easiest of things to straighten out again either. Still, it was all good fun :D

    I gotta say as forums go this place is first class. I've spent 3 or 4 days just reading loads of threads and you all seem a pretty good bunch :thumbleft

    Welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy the place.

    (but don't take what the boys say to heart. Sometimes, they drink too much coffee, and can't sit at their desk for more than five minutes straight. So they get forum withdrawl, which makes them cranky.)

    Well done on the CPU too - like Raff said, they can be a real bugger. Helps when you carry tweezers around :D
