Goals for 2019

    Hi All,

    Following on from Goals for 2019... We might as well continue the tradition and list want we want to achieve in the upcoming year :)

    For me...

    IT Related: MCSA: Office365 and CCNA CyberOps course (not sure if I'm going to sit the exam, but hopefully gain the instructor certification for it).

    Non-IT Related: Finish my Counselling Cert, start my training for my 4th Dan (this is a goal that is going to take a minimum of 4 years), start my next module for my Masters (Technology-enhanced learning: foundations and futures)...

    What is yours?

    I love these threads because there's nothing like drawing a line in the sand, setting some goals or how ever you want to put it.

    Pass the VMConAWS Skill exam and look to do a VCAP in DCV. If I can fit it in. The AWS SA certification.

    Apart from that were moving house and have a baby due in January so I'll be lucky to fit anything else in

    Somehow, I've become a Skype for Business "SME"...I did think that to be "on-prem suicide" but then MS released S4B 2019, so it looks like there is still on-prem life left in what we all know as "Lync". I suspect the S4B Online take up will be slow due to compliance requirements, especially in finance (recording of all modalities) and the general distrust of "PSTN in the cloud". My goal is to further immerse myself in Skype for Business.
     
    Certifications: MCP, MCSA 2000 , N+, A+ ,ITIL V2, MCTS, MCITP Lync 2010 & MCSA 2008, Sonus SATP SBC 1k/2k
