I'm sure Freddie will be along any minute to take the p***...

Just downloaded an eval of Citrix PS 4.5 (2 user dev license - Citrix have finally seen the light and started to offer an unlimited usage 2-user license for testing!). Its a zip file from Citrix's site - when i downloaded it I got the ol' 'Windows has blocked access' routine, so right clicked and went to 'Properties' to unblock it... no checkbox. AAAUGHH!!!!

WinRar to the rescue... Haven't had the need to use another compression utility since I provisioned myself a new VM a couple of months back, but have decided to dispense with the built-in XP compression utility once and for all now.

Winrar is good but I have found one that in my opinion is better and free all the time.

    Its called izarc

    Edit: Izarc does everything.

Don't get me wrong, I like XP (and Vista to a certain extent), but I've never liked the Windows version "Zipped Files". It's very basic (I guess it's better than nothing though).

Programs I use are: Winrar, Winzip and ZipGenius (in that order of preference).
