    Hey guys, i just passed my 271 exam, and would like to get the A+ exam behind me as well. What kind f level is this compared to 70-271? also can you link me a self study book that you would recommend. what sort of time scale is usually required to study for the A+?

    Technically, it sit's at the same level, compliments each other by covering different subjects.

    Alot of people use Mike Meyers AiO book and recomment it. Time scale, it really depends on you. Some people take 1-2 years, others take a month or so. It's not a race, it's based on how you learn as well as how fast.

    Thanks guys. I here that the certificate is only valid for 3 years, is it still worth doing, even though i will have to resit it every 3 years?
