Was wondering, if people could give me some valuable information or links, about what I need to get into university computing, aiming for computing degree.

Haven't gone college this year, having a year or work, at quite a big company, working in marketing/web design.

I was wondering what I should study at college, Obviously computing, but what else would be efficient,

And how long would it take to go through college and University to get my degree?

Wishing to work on stuff like computer game programming, or stuff based around that

Or a job at somewhere like "jagex".

Also anyone got valuable information or links, on basic game programming language, or good books to get.

Game programming, like C++, java etc.

Any help on my problems would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance,
