i have been assured by my ISP that my free space is ready for Frontpage extensions :)
The problem being i cannot sync up with it

Error message "the folder myurl......." isn't accessible, protected by a password or contains a / or \

The seem to think it is firewall related but get the same error with the firewall off....

    Edit

Oh, i have looked at the support pages on the MS site and tried using the IP address instead of URL, updates etc.....

Cant say I’m an expert with Frontpage extensions but do you publish the files through Frontpage or do you FTP?

Tell you for a fact, mate - I get this 10 times a day from my guys at work. Either:

1.) Frontpage extensions (FPX) haven't been installed or configured in your webspace, or

2.) They were, but as Sparky alludes to - someone has tried to connect using FTP, which breaks FPX every time (answers on a postcard please ?)

    Get the host to re-install FPX - job'll be a good'un :)

I know we have managed to get FPX and FTP to co-exist on some of our servers. When I asked one of our people how it was done a few bloodshot eyes looked at me and suggested that I might enjoy being suspended from a 5th floor window.

My view is don't mix them. I have seen multiple times where one has totaly messed the other.
