From the Mail Room to the I.T. Department.

    Found this the other day, someone talks about how they progressed, in this case from working in the mail room, to becoming a SQL analyst.

    Well worth a view, and shows that hard work, study and also dealing with people are key to progression.

    my first IT job was in a irish pension/insurance company and the CEO at the time started out in the mail room too. Back then tho it was all about being a bigger bast**rd than the next fella! Being in the mail room I guess you get to find out everyone's little secrets:twisted:
