Is it a good idea or not to put on my cv that i have been doing frelance work? I have always been the "support" for family and friends and have always repaired or helped with software problems, even choosing new computers specific to their needs. There has also been times when i have dealt with people that i dont know, like when me mum says oh i got this mate who needs this doing can you do it?
All im thinking is that if i have this on my cv will it count towards experience or not???
I just need to get my foot in that damn door! lol

Unfortunately it won't count. There's no way for an employer to check if your telling porkies or not.
For entry level jobs you need to emphasise your customer service skills and hope you strike lucky. Don't be lazy and use a generic CV and cover letter, tailor each application to the job specs. I try to go through each job advert and make sure I mention each point somewhere in my CV or cover letter.

I would say put it your cv. Employers can't check but it shows you have been doing something and they may quiz you about it to assess your knowledge and experience.

I don't think there's any need to mention whether you got paid or not.
