    Hi Guys.

I have been looking for a freeware such as Free share Calendar like / similar Google Calendar.

I have looked around the Internet but have not found much out there. Does any one on the forums have any clue about any other free / similar calendars out there. I cannot afford to go down the exchange road at the moment as I work in a school and the funds are tight so free is the WAY TO GO......

    Cheers.

    FatP :)

are you looking for something web based, ie scripts you can host on iis/ apache or looking for a client install application?

Mozilla sunbird appears to offer basic sharing as long as you are able to configure webdav.

If you can find some old copies of Lotus Organiser you can set them all to use the same data file. I've done that successfully in small companies and it worked fine - might depend on how many users you need to have access tho'

If your running Vista as an OS, you can use Microsoft Calendar.

What are you using as a mail client just now? If its Outlook you could create a .pst file with a calendar in it, put it in a share and control permissions through NTFS.

    Good idea Sparky!

Just remember that with a PST, only one person can be in it at any one time.

True, I would agree that using Windows Calendar is the better option if the clients are running Vista.
