Floppy disk stuck in floppy drive!

    Can anyone help me I have a floppy diskette stuck in my floppy drive. Does anyone know what I need to do?

    Tough one, PF. Diskette's get stuck either because they had the wrong side inserted (it happens) or the metal head guard was slightly bent. Searched the web and couldn't find much.
    Looks like, worst case scenario, you might have to shut down the computer and perhaps even remove the drive. Other than that, see if you can gently tuck at the diskette while pushing the eject button.

    I had a Tiny PC once (never again) where a spring or something broke in the floppy drive and I really had to hammer the eject buttton to get the disk to eject. It could be something like that.

    I'm with the_Geek - go buy a new drive - old out, new one in - 20 min job m8.

    Same here m8. Chances are that the disk has lost the data anyway
