C'mon all you Firefox users. Let's set a world record.

OK, kids, ready to go for the record? The latest version of the free browser Firefox is set to launch at 10 a.m. PST today, and organizers are hoping so many people will download it, the Guinness Book of World Records will cite it for "most software downloaded in 24 hours." You can get Firefox 3 from the official "Download Day" site here.

PS.....something tells me the doo-doo has hit the fan.

Looks like the strain was more than the bandwidth could bear:

I guess I should have edited my first post.

I went ahead and downloaded just to add to the potential world record. However, researching revealed all the add-ons I currently use will not work on v3.0, so I'll wait until the 3.0 versions are available before I install.

Been using one of the RC's for the past few weeks - quite impressed. A few nifty features I didn't think would be beneficial but are actually quite handy once you start to use them. Have had no problems even with the RC with my addons.

Still can't get on the site to download the full product.

I'm willing to download it, if for no other reason than to keep Microsoft on their toes. But I'm unable to do so... they're choking.

I decided to give in and get it. Just the theme Noia which I use doesn't work on it, no script and add blocker work though.

I have used that before but preferred Noia, They do a few NFL teams but not the Bengals as I would use a Bengal theme.

Just noticed you are doing the PDI+, I did a beta of that last year and only failed by a small margin as there was no study material. I may do it again in the future as it wasn't very hard.

Well, I haven't started it yet. After we became part of Sharp Electronics Corp we were told we all needed to get that cert. They're suppose to be sending a trainer to go over the topics covered on the test.

Call me obtuse, but i'll probably be downloading it Thurs/Fri.
AFAIK, there's no official Guiness record, so if it's ratified, 1 download will set the record (feel free to shoot me down here, I don't know if that's fact or not!)

And in all fairness, any MS critical update could probably smash the record if they fancied worrying about it...

Don't get me wrong, FF is my browser of choice, I just don't go along with whole FF makes you a better person kinda thing...

From looking at my score sheet, which got revised I only failed by 2 points and the only reading I had done was the section on Printers in Mike Meyers AIO guide aswell as parts on customer service.
