Got a new job at long last!!

Been looking for an IT role for a few years and while doing so, I've been applying for other jobs within my company (civil service)
As the years stacked up my wage went up so the gap between my current wage and the wage I would have to drop to in a 1st line support role wasn't feasible especially now that my wife just gave birth to our 2nd kid and is now part time.

So, a job came up (IT-ish....) internal and with promotion. Its doing "MI and Statistics" which I do within my current role anyway.

The new role was to use in depth excel and SQL which I don't really have any experience with.
When I saw this in the job ad, I self taught myself some SQL commands and created a database where I can run queries starting with simple then adding from there.
I ordered a "Sams teach yourself SQL in 10 minutes" and its proved to be a great guide.

The above really impressed the panel in the interview and I was offered the role.
I start next Monday and im still brushing up on excel (VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP/INDEX) etc and SQL commands.

I'm looking for suitable certs that I could self study along the SQL lines, does anyone have any pointers??
