Failed 284.....Again!

Talk about kicking a guy when he's down! I failed my 284 about a month ago but while I found it really hard going I knew I was under prepeared. I got about 630 so picked myself up and got back on the books and my virtual lab and went back for the 2nd attempt today. Found it even harder and only got 595. Nightmare

So once again I say to myself, get a grip. Sort yourself out Etc. I will need to raise my game. But then while searching through the posts here for some inspiration, I find that the exam expires in 2 weeks! Arrrggghhh.

I'll need to contact the training centre tommorow but does anyone know if the academic version of the exam also expires at the end of march? I think it has a slightly different code number. If not I may have to think about alternatives to gain my MCSA.

I failed with 665 - thats like 3.5% out!! Talk about disappointed. Anyway, I am all set to retake next Tuesday now.
I actually didnt think the test was as bad as all that - but some of the questions did show that I was underprepard in some aspects - routing/bridgeheads especially.
Did you manage to get another attempt booked?

I havn't investigated my options yet re my next attempt. Been a bit of a manic week but will need to get my finger out soon.

Well due to lack of available dates - I have had to go for monday afternoon. So going to bury my head in a book for the next 3 days and go for it! Wasnt too far out - so just a little more effort needed I hope.

One thing - I didnt complete the survey at the end of the exam last time..... surely that is OK though - it doesnt include any extra points for completing it?

Well I just got back from taking my 284 and failed it too!!

Going to get it rebooked for either Monday/Tuesday
