Just out of curiosity is anyone using Exchange in their home lab as their main email system? Meaning does your email come through Exchange? or do you guys just stick to the cloud like gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc...

For me since I have a lab and technet plus, I ended up setting up Exchange in my lab and forwarded my domain to the Exchange server. Figured I'd try that for for fun, etc...

My main domain vmfocus.com is via Gmail.

However I have no-ip accounts that I use for SSL VPN, Exchange mail flow testing, Direct Access etc

Once that service pack 3 comes out and allows for coexistence right? I am in the same boat... Exchange 2010 and waiting on that service pack!

I actually have a nice lab going, I built my self 2 x ESX whitebox that supports FT/Direct Path for VCAP... yeah I passed the VCP exam but didn't do the course because the company hasn't paid yet... so waiting to do the course in Feb...

I'll have a blog post in a couple of days, just have to find the timing!

Time for a new sparky.local domain I think so will just export the current mailboxes and start over.

Once the service pack is out for Exchange 2010 then I will migrate for testing and then ditch the current sparky.local. Still got loads of customers on Exchange 2003 so that is going to be a hassle to migrate to Exchange 2013.
