We have a client who has a sites, production and DR. In both sites they have 1 x CAS/Hub and 1 x Mailbox roles on Exchange 2010.

They have a DAG which is working and al seeding/replication is upto date.

When we failover to the DR site we have access to OWA, Mailboxes & mailflow works fine. What we are unable to get resolved is the Outlook 2010 clients are still connecting to the Production Exchange Server. The SAN SSL has both names for the Production & DR Exchange Servers for all roles including internal/external FQDN and NetBois.

    We have tried the following:

    - New Profile
    - Adding a DNS record for the Production Exchange Server pointing to the DR Exchange Server (frig)

I know I'm missing something, would anyone care to point me in the right direction please.

    I think this may work?

    Get-MailboxDatabase xxxxx | fl RpcClientAccessserver
    Set-MailboxDatabase xxxxx -RpcClientAccessServer “xxxx.local”
