I have a spreadsheet and I'm trying to find out how to make a formula:

    I have 3 columns- A B and C

The formula I am trying to work out is :

    (A divided by B) multiplied by 1000 - In column C

Is this doable? I've searched around a lot and can't quite find a difinative answer.

    =(A1/B1)*1000

Try that. Of course change the cell numbers to suite. The formula goes into the C cell.

    [in column c] =A1/B1*1000 ?

    So
    A1 is 50
    B1 is 2

    50 divided by 2 = 25

    25 x 1000 = 25000
