Is it necessary for me to learn all of the specs for all Intel/AMD CPUs from the original Pentium to the present? I.e, external speed range, internal speed range, multiplier range, package, socket, and cache size? Or do I need to to learn only the "later" CPUs and only certain specs? Any help is much appreciated.

Knowing the packages and socket types would help.

Thank you. Anything regarding cache or wattage for the CPUs?
