Im interested to know what the exam prices are for A+ and Network+ in the UK? Even better if we have guys in other EU countries im interested also to hear how much they are there...

here in cyprus i have been quoted:

    A+ GBP 200 per exam
    Network+ GBP 289

I checked the comptia website and this seems way above the prices they have set!

A+ is now £105 per exam (so effectively £210 for the A+) and Network+ £154 here in the UK. Those are prices sans VAT (which if you're not exempt and do the exams through Vue will add another 17.5% to the total!)

Zimbo I think your being ripped off you shouldn't be charged anymore than CompTIA's RRP to sit an exam

Zimbo if companies are charging more to sit exams then it might be worth you contacting CompTIA to see if thats allowed.

Not only that, it might be worth checking out about exam vouchers. Take a look in the A+ forum for some more info.

Zimbo, are you sure you've been quoted in British Sterling? Not actually checked the exchange rate yet but with you being based abroad do you think it's possible they've actually quoted you in Euros (spit, spit)?

    Zimbo,

The trick is to beat the centre at their own game.
I paid over the odds when I took my A+ Hardware. If the centres are far apart they know you are going to pay extra than travel 2 hours in the car.
Try and get the vouchers you need for the centre you want to take the exam in. Find out if the are Vue or Prometric.
    Then go to this site

    Best of luck :D

    Comptia A+
CYP141.75 plus vat Total Price CYP 163.01

CYP207.90 plus vat Total Price CYP 239.08

    Thanks and regards
    Savvia Michaelidou"

@Boyce there are only like 5 centres that test in cyprus... this dump is so small they all within 15 min of each other!!

    Zimbo,

    I love Cyprus 8)

When you have found what exam code you want to take (listed at the top of the exam objectives) look for that voucher with the link suggested. Then you will receive confirmation from the exam board. You can then either book the exam with them direct or contact the centre and tell them you will be paying with vouchers.

    Hope this helps :D

    Zimbo,

Check that they are valid because a lot of the offers are for US and Canada only.
