i just cant understand why comptia exams are so high?

£169 for an exam, (and that for a qualification that is never specified are any job requirements i have seen)

in comparison to ms exams at £88 or cisco test at £62 its just ridiculous

i personally was going to take this exam until i found out the price, im going to stick to the ccna now

Cisco and Microsoft have other (fairly massive) revenue streams, CompTIA don't, in order to cover the cost of running the certification program they have to charge a higher fee.
