Hello Everyone and Hello to Andy..

I am sorry mate I'd try to put your name in the referral box but it came up error

Does this still mean you won't buy me a pint?

Goodluck to Ucheekymonkey with job interview.

Well, I have been an Engineer since the dawn of time until I was made redundant. I recently saw an advert on Telly by Computeach and like a moth attracted to light applied for a course. I was looking forward to starting a new exciting career in IT. Until Andy (Ucheekymonkey) told me a few things about them and recommeded this website.

Phew.. so glad I didn't part with any money, got another guy from NITLC coming round.

I have over 5 years experience in CAD and CG with Maya, C4D and studiomax. I was recommended to go into Websites. But not sure...

    Grundit : :)

    Hello Steve

Don't worry about the referral thing!
I have a fresh batch of Home Brew just waiting to be drunk :morebeer :beers2

If you look under the search box for NITLC there is quite a bit of feedback on them. Personally I think there are too many web site designers out there. I think you should go for Network Engineering and leave the CGI stuff as a hobby.

    Later..Andy :biggrin

Thanks for the suggestion Zimbo but at 34 years old I think I am a bit too old to go back to Uni. Besides I do have family in the computer game industry. I'm sure you've heard of Tomb Raider so you can guess what firm I'm talking about.

It's not as good as you think and it's more about knowing the right people rather having a piece of paper.

Not much different here IMHO - If you are determined and put yourself about by people networking, then anything is possible. Jobs in IT do not grow on trees anywhere in the world unfortunately.
