    England win World Cup

A Jonny Wilkinson drop goal deep into extra time gives England a 20-17 victory over Australia in the Rugby World Cup final.

The picture above says it all.

What a match, nailbiting stuff from start to finish.

I'm all rugbyed out now as the Northampton Saints were running a World Cup Competition for all of the primary school in the town. Yes I was there in the pouring rain shivering my bits off supporting my daughter school and watching her in the parade. Bonus was I got a free ticket to see the match afterwards. Still time to dry off and then I think a good cheer drink :morebeer

    WELL DONE ENGLAND

OK, Guys - I have to admit, it was an astonishing match to listen to (had it on in the van at work)

I would never have believed a game could turn so much. Also, I think the fact that it was won on a move in open play, rather than yet another penalty, pretty much shows that England earned that victory.

Well done, lads - but tell me you weren't sh*tting bricks all the way...?

    :) :clap
