Does anyone use a laptop as a desktop and if so do you have more than one screen? I am looking for a way to use my monitors rather than the laptop screen, but have them both as different workspaces. My laptop has a graphics card, which is an Nvidia Geforce GTX, but im not too sure what I need to buy in order to have 2 different workspaces etc

I used to have a few mate but I now just use the one 34 inch curved 4K monitor. It took a bit of getting used to but I can fit a ton of windows and bits into the one screen so I'm very happy. LG 98 something it is

Does your laptop have the necessary outputs to drive 2 monitors? I'm sure it's usually a VGA output and HDMI. You should then be able to hook one up to one monitor's VGA and the HDMI to the other monitor. I'm sure Laptops usually have a VGA for the sake of attaching a projector. Then it's a case of detecting the monitors and setting one as your main desktop and the other as secondary. Then set the laptop to not sleep when (do nothing) when you close the lid.

Yeah, thats the problem, it only has one HDMI port, Drumdude

I think JK I would need 4 in total 4x 21 inch etc, so a 34 wouldnt do it for me. On another note, the curved screen, is it just a gimmick or does it serve a purpose, i went flat as opposed to the curved screen when choosing my current TV

Tbh I think I prefer flat too personally but I'm old fashioned. I only got it because I had a few dregs of bitcoin left and I could spend it on scan

That's certainly a boon sometimes. Fortunately you have a laptop so you can always unplug it and take it elsewhere if multi-monitors is screwing you up.
