Is it possible to do a dual boot of Linux and WinXP?

I have in the past done a dual boot with XP and Win98.

    But what about Linux?

im guessing you could boot up as many os's as you have partitions, or space for partitions.

may get a little confusing though if you have loads!

    Thanks everyone for your input!

I was wondering if I should use grub to set up the dual boot or another?

Grub is the current favourite alternative to LILO. It is a Linux boot system that allows booting multiple OSes.

When dual booting Linux & any version of Windows, make sure Windows is installed first. When you install Linux, it will pick up this fact & configure LILO or GRUB accordingly.
