Hello,
I have my MCP in XP and going to give my 70-290, my doubt is after passing my 70-290 exam..would i receive some certificate?

Nope.

You only receive certificates when you gain a higher certification, i.e. pass one MS exam and become an MCP, pass two, your still just an MCP. Pass the exams required to become an MCSA or other and you get a cert for that.
