I would have gone if it wasn't on the other side of the planet to me... manchester is a loooong way away

 

I would go to some of these meetings and join the BCS if it did not cost so much i can hardly afford to pay for bus travel to college. I think it would cost me a whole month of my dispensable income to join lol.

 

Not so much on the networking side, although my boss got the chance to speak to Peter Gradwell.
As for price ericrollo, I paid £40 for a associate member (temporary reduced rates). The event was open to non-BCS members as well.

 

Glad you enjoyed it and it was good to get the chance to meet-up

 

Did you guys manage to make a video of it Kevin? Any ETA on when it would be available?

 

It's down to the events management people at the Uni. We think (hope !) it all worked ok.
