Hi

i'm doing some DNS stuff. Here's what - we've got a record that we thought was looked after by BT - if i bring up a dos box and then type nslookup and set the type to SOA and then type the domain in i get the following:

primary name server = ns25.domaincontrol.com
responsible mail addr = dns.jomax.net
serial = 2006071000
refresh = 28800 (8 hours)
retry = 7200 (2 hours)
expire = 604800 (7 days)
default TTL = 86400 (1 day)

this to me looks like the SOA is with someone called domaincontrol - am i reading this right ?

just to add if i set the type to NS - then i see the name servers i would expect to!
Just bit puzzled by this domain control thing!
