DFS?

    does anyone use this on there network at work?

    would like to know any tips for setting it up on server 2003

    Yes, many more feature in R2 btw. Set it up ages ago and it is working with no problems. 8)

    DFS - distributed file system, basically used to manage files in a server networked infrastructure. At work we personally don't use it but have files stored separately on a file server as we're currently in the process of implementing clustering and SAN.

    It would be good practice for you to check this topic on Microsoft's web site under tech net. You would learn lots this way as well as improve on your knowledge base. Cheerio:)

    Yep we use it to replicate content on load balanced web or ftp servers
