How do you delete an unwanted desktop wallpaper?

P.S. Where is that in the A+ exams?

That depends on whether or not you have what used to be called active desktop enabled. Now, in XP it's referred to as show web content, which basically means you can have jpg images as wallpaper. The default setting is not to show web content and only allow bitmap images (.bmp) which in the default list of wallpaper would be in the windows directory or whatever yours is named WINNT etc.

If show web content is enabled, the files can be anywhere on your HDD, so personally I would search the hard drive for the filename in the wallpaper list. For example do a search for bliss.*

Themes can also give you wallpaper which may not appear until the theme is loaded. This seems to be the case with my media centre theme, the default wallpaper vanishes off the drive if the theme isn't loaded.

    Professor-Falken,

How about right clicking your mouse over a different picture file and setting that as the desktop background, effectively "overwriting" the current background picture?

The reason I mention Set Desktop As Background is because I was hoping that would help solve the problem.
I know where my wallpapers are thanks to Bluerinse but that
    wallpaper is not listed there.

Where is the actual picture that you right clicked on?

If you want another wallpaper then just choose another one from the default list. Or find another picture etc.

Did you search your hard drive as described in my first post?
