Hi All

I have a photo I took at a gig a while back set as my desktop background, I think I have deleted the file but the background is still there - as such my assumption (perhaps wrongly) is that windows has a cached copy somewhere but I haven't a scooby where that is. Does anyone know where and if windows would store this and how to extract it?

this might help.

 

Check:-

C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\WALLPAPERNAME.bmp

C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WALLPAPERNAME.JPG

They'll be hidden folders, so you'll need to be able to view these.
