Hi Pablo. I have tried your link but it just brought up a blank page. What was the job and does it need experience? Or do you know of another link?
    :cheers

    Hi Law

If you go to the UK Dell website, there is a link, I think it is at the bottom of the page for careers and you can apply for the jobs that way.

Hey Law - just remember - they ALWAYS ask for more than they expect to get. If you get an interview and make a good impression, this could well be your break.

Good luck to all going for it [IMG]

Thanks GAV for the morale boost although it didn’t last long. I seen what you were saying in another thread about entry level interviews I have not got very much knowledge about some of the items motioned below. So I am now going to give up looking for a job until I at least understand these items more. Then I will start to look again.

Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, tcp/ip tools (eg ping, tracert, ipconfig, etc), networking (PCs printers, etc), OS knowledge

Web/net knowledge, ie domains, ftp, search engine technology, hosting, protocols, etc.

So it is back to the books for a while. :D

Hey, don't let that put you off, Law - that's just from my personal experience, and from others I have spoken to about this. I honestly think that even if I hadn't been able to answer those questions too well, I still showed the keeness to learn, and that is what the employer is looking for.

Yup, I would agree with Gav on this one, a willingless to learn counts for allot!! ALthough you might nt have that exact knowledge at the moment, if you can show you know something, and are willing to put the time and effort into learning (as you are clearly doing at the moment), you may be offered a job.

And hey, even if you aren't offered anything, you will have gained some experience when it comes to what to expect in interviews.

I say go for it, you never know. If you don't try, you wont succeed!!! :D
