Decoding Passwords

    Does anyone know where i can find out how to decode a password stored in the registry?

    do a google for lOphtcrack.

    How careless of you to forget your passwords, I do hope your not being naughty ;).

    Other tools are available on various linux boot cd's as well, again, google is the place to start. I have come aqcross some which worked quite quickly (on simple passwords I admit, I knew the password and was curious as to the vulnerabilities) but these just gave the chance to reset it, it didn't give the original.
