I never really considered it and just included lots of information like full name, full address and date of birth. I just updated it and now read this which says you shouldn't even include your age or phone number, I wonder if this includes mobile phone number? it says just use an email address as point of contact.

What personal information do you display on your CV?

I removed my middle name, date of birth and full address. I just have name, city, mobile and email.

Thats it, there is no law saying a regular employer should even ask for your DOB now as it comes under ageism laws I think.

 

absolutely right, an employer can't ask your age at interview without risking accusations of unfair hiring practices so no need whatsoever to include it on your CV.

 

This thread actually made me do a double take and check my CV to see what information I include.

As has already been suggested, I list:-

Name (without middle name)
Address
Contact Telephone Number
Email Address

And that's about it.

Mine contains:

My name with middle initial
My address
Home phone
Cell phone
E-mail

 

I sometimes stick my bank details on just to be sure.
