Gov was using giant Excel sheet, from what I understand of government IT sounds totally feasible.

 

My wife works as team lead for the NHS and some of the stories that she has told me about the NHS IT, I can totally belive it.
IT for their borough is outsourced and its a shambles.

Had a new team lead start, took 3 weeks to get her a Laptop. My Wife was locked out of her Laptop last week as her AD Account suddenly "Disabled" itself, and thats just low level stuff but you get my drift.
