    Hi all,

This is my first post, wanted to start of by saying hi.

I am looking to start doing A+ from September onwards, and was wondering if anyone knows good providers or recommend on how to go about getting myself in gear to pass the exams.

    Your recommendations will be appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Hussain

Hi, welcome to the forum, i am currently studying towards my A+ been doing it for about a month now. I would recommend you look at the CompTia Website http://www.comptia.org/certifications/listed/a.aspx. This is the official CompTia Website for all CompTia qualifications and will put you in the right direction. I would also recommend getting the CompTia A+ book by Mike Myers http://www.amazon.co.uk/CompTIA-Cer...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1271800428&sr=8-1 . or, http://www.amazon.co.uk/CompTIA-Complete-Study-Guide-Application/dp/047048649X/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1271800428&sr=8-7 .

If you want to know a good training institute for when you want to book to take your exam(s) when you think you are ready, i would recommend:

    http://www.vue.com/

This Website will list local venues close to you where you can take your exams after you register with them.

Another great Website for when your are studying towards your A+ is: http://www.professormesser.com/. This site gives you free online training videos and goes through step-by-step guides of each chapter. Also keep checking this forum because there are a lot of knowledgable people on this forum.

    good Luck :D

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into it, what do you think about www.certifyittraining.com?

They are offering A and N as a package. Is professormessor up-to-date? as the exams have changed to 701/702?

    Kind regards,

    Hussain
