I am so happy to share with you that I've passed both of my exams!
I just wanted to say a big thanks to CertForums where I got motivated from several topics/ posts that have been mega helpfull and of course fantastic practice papers software from Bosons - great stuff!

I'm aiming for Comptia N+ or Server+, what would you recommend first and what is most interesting in your opinion?

Congrats mate - I hope to be able to start a thread like this very soon....

 

To be honest with you it took me 3 years of study. I've been using skillstrain founded by my parents as an excuse to further educate after college, but unfortunetly i did work full time at the same time so i did revise on and off. Material wise i have studied 2006 objectives and 2009 ones which led me to pass the later one with a great help from M. Mayers book and Bossons papers. I admit that english is my second language and completing exams in UK have made it difficultish and tricky for me at times, but i am up for more dont even doubt taht am not cappable of doing it!

Even more kudos if English is not your native language. I would take a lot longer than three years if I had to study in my second language!

 

Well done! Great news I'd recommend the Network + too. It goes into more depth on some of the Networking topics covered in the A+, and I'm finding it a good progression at the moment... Will see if I still say that when I take my exam in 4 weeks, haha! ;)
