hey - i am just finishing the self study kit for the foundation ciw course - does anyone know where i can go to take the exam - i had a look at the pearson vue website but couldn't find anything ?

Try the ProMetric website. There are normaly quite a few options with each. You may have to go a few miles though.

 

nice one - just got to finish the networks part of study and im finally ready to go... hope theres not too much stuff on networks on the exam , i'm finding that bit the hardest!

 

Try to memorise at what layer of the OSI each network device (hubs, switches, routers, etc) operates at and what layers of the OSI/TCPIP stack certain protocols (TCP, Ethernet, IP, ARP, etc) operate at.
