I am a beginner wanting to start with this exam

wanted to buy the official training programme etc but usa dont post to the uk

is this the best way to home study?

wanted some kind of interactive/video tutorials

I've just recently started this course of study myself. I've already put together a small collection of resources, many of them free. I've got a little more organizing to do, but should have it posted in the CIW forum by tomorrow.

I've got one post already in place called CIW Certification Resources on the CertGuard CIW Forum.

Hope you can get some use of it, and if you have any to add to it, let me know.

I strongly recommend that you self-study for this particular exam. It's not too difficult, but it does cover a lot of the basics. The official self-study kit can be purchased from ComputerPrep:

thats exactly what im trying to get hold of, im not sure they post to the uk though, this is where im stuck

costs £425 buy the exact same thing in the uk, as oppose to $100

I believe they do, or at least they used to. I also live in the UK and was able to purchase the materials from them.

 

ok ill give them a try, the site does seem very similar to the ciw one though that doesnt allow it

anyway mr alex wright have have you ever heard of redwood futures a company that deal in ciw exams
i study wit them now seem pretty sound the study kit they provided is simply a book does this sound good to you
